Wait for it! (drum roll) The winners are . . .

1st up I must apologise, yet again I seem to have made a rather simple process over complicated and this is partially responsible for the winners being announced late, I am sorry for this . :ashamed:

But we finally have the results of the
:empllama: 'Mechanic to Organic' competition! :emplllama:

Now the public vote (which included the Imfamous Fractal Forums Admin/Founder CKleihuis aka TriFox and other members of the forums) left us with no clear 2nd or 3rd place with several submissions tied on votes. I was kind of unsure of what to do, but I hope you'll agree that I made the right move by contacting the one, the only Jesse!! The Creator of Mandelbulb3d agreed to cast his eye over the entries which were neck and neck and help us decide upon 2nd and 3rd place winners.
It was a tough decision as we liked all the entries very much, I can tell you it was definitely a photo finish!!!

Overzealous Hippy Waffle

Welcome organismic fractiilians!!

Here be a new space to showcase your creative graphicalizations of the macrocosmic universe. Bring forth your digital representations of those lovely numbers we know as fractals for all to see. The main focusing of our explorations is to be living mandelbulbings and fractalized pixels. We'll render the biological dimension that we occupy taking a closer look at the evolutionary parameters right in front of our very eyes in explicit detail and share our joyous findings with the world!

(We'll also chuck some competitions and random bizarre rantings your way once in a while too!)

Please note that this group is dedicated to organic looking fractals (skeletal, biological, animalistic, natural looking landscapes etc) To ensure the theme is consistant submissions will be checked before addition to the gallery.

note: 2 submissions per day max.

I am most honoured to be invited to join this group, invitation accepted. :bow: I have to let you know though (to =ToxicDwarf ) that I don't usually make that type of fractals, like the "Trees are green" that you have asked to include in your gallery for which I thank you :hug:
I also am most glad to see that Damien ^SaTaNiA has wrote a comment in his Journal about *FracFx and that you also copied here. :phew:

Honoured to have you join us, there is no pressure to submit regularly, we're a pretty laid back group. I myself don't create a huge number of organic looking fractals, I find them difficult to generate. But that is what makes them so much more special. I love the organic look in fractal art which is why i created the group. I was happy to copy Damien's post here ( I did donate myself, only a few dollars as i'm pretty skint at the moment, but it all adds up. The more exposure this cause gets the more little bits will go to helping someone how has been dealt rough hand after rough hand. I hope life starts getting better for the poor guy.) Like I said, glad to have you on board!

As usual I am behind in responding my messages, first of all I want to thank you in TJs name (fracfx)for your contribution, the sum is close to 400 as of today (oct 20th)
Will take a look at the art in the group's gallery to try to understand what is an Organic looking fractal. :D
